Kick-off the Asian Art Museum’s new Maharaja exhibition (which opens October 21st) with taste.

This MATCHA event on October 27th features recent Top Chef Master Floyd Cardoz as he walks you through his demonstration of culinary art and talks you through contemporary flavors in Indian cuisine. Enjoy free food samples, no-host bars, and a new menu at the museum’s Café Asia. Explore Maharaja in conversations with a curator or docent.

5-8 pm — Tastings from Sukhi’s Gourmet Indian Food (while supplies last)
5-9pm — DJ Janaka Selekta, cash bars, free raffle drawing, and make your own chai tea blend
5:30 pm — Find out what curator Qamar Adamjee’s favorite objects are in Maharaja
6 & 7:30 pm — Gallery Conversations
6:30 & 8:30 pm — Floyd Cardoz talk and demo (approx. 30 min)
