Matcha is the Asian Art Museum’s version of Friday Nights at the DeYoung: a lively art-filled party with DJ-spun music, cocktails, art-making workshops, gallery tours and special performances

The focus of the May 12th Matcha is “Makrokosma Bali” – where you’ll get to see a special preview of excerpts from a new innovative gamelan performance from Bali – a work which combines new music with projected video and still imagery, digital-audio soundscapes and an integrated lighting design.
