Event Details

At the Asian Art Museum’s “Matcha” the museum stays open late and you can create your own art, embark on gallery tours, see the latest special exhibition, sit in on a talk, mingle with friends over cocktails, groove to the DJ and more.

July 26, 2012 Matcha Theme:  Taking Up Space
For one night only, artist led project Space Bi brings together 28 local artists in a friendly takeover of the museum. See their works inspired by and sometimes critical of the museum (it’s tough love). Enjoy solo shows in the store, pop up karaoke, fruit costumes, printed tortillas, alternative tours of the collection galleries, participatory activities, and more.

Check out contemporary art exhibition Phantoms of Asia and have some art lovin’ fun with drinks, dancing, and our DJ-in-residence Vin Sol.
