SHUT IT DOWN: Workers’ Needs Over Billionaires’ Greed: NO WAR, NO CUTS, NO DEPORTATIONS!

Because when the billionaires break every rule, it’s going to take more than a rally to stop them!

Join us for a day of action alongside: United Educators of SF, Mission Action, Jobs with Justice, Bay Resistance, Indivisible, Nuevo Sol, El/La Translatina, AFSCME 3299, SEIU USWW, California Nurses Association, Unite Here Local 2, Housing Rights Committee, National United Healthcare Workers, Palestinian Youth Movement, San Francisco Labor Council, Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA), PODER, Tech Workers Coalition, and many more organizations for a powerful Day of Action and March in San Francisco.

This year, we rise with the spirit of May Day Strong under the call: Shut it Down! Workers’ Needs Over Billionaires’ Greed: NO WAR, NO CUTS, NO DEPORTATIONS!

Our day of action includes: -A mobilization @ 11am to SFO Intl Terminal with USWW (Follow our Instagram for more details on that @jobs_with_justice) -Joining our program for the official march @ 2PM at Civic Center Plaza, -Marching with us @ ~230PM down Mission street towards Embarcadero -Major stop @Embarcadero for a powerful cultural offering, and we’ll continue marching back to Civic Center.

There will be powerful speakers, chants, and stops along the march representing all the corporate targets from our demands.

Our demands are: -No deportations and full rights for immigrants -Fund communities, not war -No cuts to our organizations and community groups -Money for healthcare, childcare, education, and social services -Health, dignity, and protection for all workers -Lower the cost of living and prioritize workers’ needs over billionaire greed -Build worker power and defend the right to organize

Together, we’re taking the streets to demand a future rooted in dignity, justice, and collective power. Together we will be flexing our collective muscle in a tremendous day of power – showing our unity through a day of marches, rallies, and actions including

No Work No School No Shopping in many cities.

Join as as together we celebrate May 1st through action and community.
