McCoppin Plaza Events | SF

On Sunday, August 17, 2014, Shaping San Francisco will describe this forgotten neighborhood of “the Hub” with a walking gallery of historic images drawn from nearby locations, speaking to the multiple uses of city spaces over time. Come see photos of how the area used to look, chat about times gone by, and find out all about this historical neighborhood.

Learn how the Hub neighborhood intersected with the rest of the city through transit and some of its ecological features that no longer exist today. In the popular Guess Where series at the plaza on Sunday, you can learn about nearby attractions of old such as Woodward’s Gardens and the first Farmers Market, and newer features like the freeway system.
