Event Details

Last week, DxE activists attended the Animal and Vegan Advocacy Conference in LA. They connected with people from dozens of different advocacy organizations, learned more about their work, shared about DxE’s current campaigns including the Right To Rescue, and discussed ways that we could collaborate to make a stronger movement for animals. At this Saturday’s Meetup, Almira will briefly describe how all these organizations fit into the “Movement Ecology” – which she spoke about at the conference – and then Ali and Michelle will share some key takeaways from the conference. Plus, we’ll have a special guest from The Humane League who has a simple call to action that we can all help with!
