Event Details

The Los Altos History Museum invites our community to a memorial tree planting on March 19 at 11:00 AM at the Los Altos Library in the Orchard room to honor Phil Doetsch, who cared for our landmark Heritage Orchard from 2015-2022.

“The program will begin with remarks from Robin Chapman, Jane Packard, and Larry Lang”, said Elisabeth Ward, Director of the Museum. “Guests will then proceed to the orchard for the planting of the memorial apricot tree and to share notes in the Orchard Memory Book.”

After the memorial, guests are invited to view the new permanent exhibit in the Museum, open from noon to 4 pm.  Admission is free. The Library and Museum are located at 51 S. San Antonio Road.
