SF Surfrider Foundation’s 3rd Annual “Message in a Bottle” | SF

Message in a Bottle is a grassroots community art event full of ocean themed art, installations, and activities for all ages, inspired by the ocean and marine plastic pollution.

The event features an inspiring assortment of art and educational installations that were created by nationally recognized artists and environmentalists.

All 3 days are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required for Friday’s opening party.

Schedule:
February 23, 6 pm to 10 pm
February 24-25, 10 am to 2 pm

All Bay Area schools, families and the public are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of the K-12 artists and environmentalists who are participating in their show.

Come enjoy an encore performance by jazz quintet The Real Deal and dance, music, and spoken word performances by Ruth Asawa School of the Arts students. Wee Scotty will also return with their sewing magic, and EcoGlitter Fun from the UK will be adorning faces with biodegradable glitter.
