Event Details

The Board of Supervisors recently voted 11-0 to approve the building of a new home of the Mexican Museum at 701 Mission Street.

Although the building won’t likely open until 2017, join Mayor Ed Lee in celebrating the approval of the project with Danzantes (indiginous Aztec indians blessing the ground for permission from Mother Earth) plus an all-female mariachi band and complimentary comida (yes, it wouldn’t be a Mexican party without food).
