The 2019 Union Square Live festival presents dozens of free events like live music, swing and tango dance lessons, film nights, circus arts, and more in Union Square Park from May through September.

Dance-A-Vision celebrates the life and legacy of Michael Jackson with a performance in Union Square at 2 pm on Sunday, August 30, 2015.
This event was made not to impersonate, but to emulate the dance moves popularized by the King of Pop.
Dance-A-Vision Entertainment has been in operation for over twenty-five years. Founded, and ran solely by Carla Service, Dance-A-Vision began as a safe place for the youth of Oakland to retreat during hardships in the home. Carla would allow and welcome these teens into her home, and would keep them occupied with school work, learning life skills, and dancing.
