Shakespeare On Tour: “Julius Caesar”
Shakespeare‘s exciting historical tale of politics and corruption in ancient Rome contains some of his most eloquent writing.
Mark Antony’s stirring and powerful ‘Friends, Romans, countrymen’ speech, Brutus’ struggle with his conscience, and the thrilling final battle scenes have enthralled audiences for centuries. Shakespeare’s keen examination of political and personal downfalls, caused by pride, conspiracy and greed offers rich material for review and discussion.
All performances are followed by a Q&A with the cast.
Performance at 2 pm. Post-show Q&A with the cast at 3 pm.
Plus, stay for a Playshop with the cast right after the Q&A. Playshop is a participatory workshop which includes games, activities and text work designed to create a greater understanding and appreciation of theater and language.
