The MAPP (Mission Arts & Performance Project) is a homegrown bimonthly intercultural multidisciplinary unruly neighborhood cultural happening.
It’s not an “art walk” (thank god). Instead, it’s a collage of 20+ odd spaces transformed into mini-cultural centers, focused on the intimate experiences of culture and people – live music, poetry, unorthodox performance art, whatever. The point is to arrive, and embrace the adventure.
Please be advised, no one is in charge. While there are a few organizers that may help to direct new inquiries, there is, in actuality, no central committee or curatorial staff. The MAPP is a non-centralised open platform, intended to facilitate diverse artistic-cultural participation at a neighborhood level.
