It’s a good time to get clear about what the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010 means and what simpler (& more fun) way to do that than in a comic book?
MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber is coming to Escapist Comic Bookstore Tuesday January 10 at Noon to talk about “Health Care Reform,” his graphic novel that explains it all. He will talk for about a half hour and then take your questions, followed by a signing session.
Gruber really knows his stuff. He’s vastly quoted as an influential health-care expert in the NY Times and the Washington Post. He was once assistant deputy secretary for economic policy in the U.S. Department of Treasury. Basically, if you want to know why the country needed this reform and what it’s going to mean, how it affects: this is your guy.
