Event Details

It is never to early to talk to your children about racial inequality. If you’re wondering how to begin these important conversations, books and shared reading experiences can provide wonderful opportunities to meaningfully engage with children about race, discrimination, and systemic racism. Listen to your child’s questions and let their curiosity guide the discussion.

Join us on Monday for a special Storytime in honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Teaching Fellow Ella Holton-McCoy will use stories to facilitate an age-appropriate discussion about racial injustice, honoring our differences, and taking action to root out systemic racism.

As always, our virtual Storytime is FREE to all who wish to join. Email team@wordsinthewild.org for the zoom link.
