Join us for a fun, family-friendly Model Railroad Open House on April 11th and 12th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 645 Loring Ave, Crockett, CA.
This special show celebrates Steam Engines and the Transition Era, bringing to life the exciting period in railroad history when mighty steam locomotives and early diesel engines shared the rails. Visitors can enjoy trains in action, detailed scenery, classic railroad atmosphere, and the craftsmanship that makes model railroading such a fascinating experience for all ages.
We are also joining in the excitement surrounding the legendary Big Boy locomotive and the celebration of railroading during America’s 250th anniversary. It is a great time to experience the power, history, and charm of the steam era.
Our open house is designed for families with kids, train enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique Bay Area outing. Whether you are introducing children to trains for the first time or you are a longtime railfan, there will be plenty to see and enjoy.
Admission is $5 per person, and children 16 and under are free. Come spend the day with us and enjoy a weekend full of trains, history, and family fun.
