The Muffin Men present the only Bay Area show that combines live stand up, sketch videos and sometimes live music in one hilarious night.

Feel Woods and Papp Johnson are part of the #HellaFunny comedy group and bring their unique brand of comedy to the swanked out Sip Bar & Lounge to get you over the hump with some laughs.

Special 4th of July Muffin Men Comedy Lineup

• Irene Tu – Irene Tu is a stand-up comic, writer, and performer from Chicago, now living in the Bay Area. Some have described her as “sarcastic,” but she just tells it like it is. Irene has performed in numerous comedy festivals including SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, and Cape Fear Comedy Festival.
• Griffin Daley – Irreverent of all authorities, Griff rides the river of life with a stunning insight into human gullibility, “we all fall for some bullshit, right?” After 3 successful marriages and many relationships (quite a few lasting longer than the customary 25 minutes) Griffin Daley attempts to convey his interpretation of the dynamic struggle men and women undergo trying to live together in love. Quote “What doesn’t kill me makes me laugh.”
• Kurt Weitzmann – Kurt Weitzmann is a an award winning film maker and playwright who has been performing standup comedy for over twenty years. He has been on Comedy Central, MTV, Clubs, Colleges, and numerous comedy festivals; written, and performed comedy shows at The HBO Workspace and The Comedy Central Stage and created both sketches and comedy shows at UCB Theater and The Fake Gallery. Kurt’s highly acclaimed one man show “Hysterical Historical San Francisco” is a self contained multimedia comedy event perfect for private shows. “Comic Genius.” – SF Weekly “God that’s funny.” – San Francisco Chronicle “Takes Politically Incorrect comedy to the outer reaches of space.” –Backstage West
• George Chen – As an upstart producer, George Chen put on comedy shows on a moving bus at Occupy Oakland, at still-life drawing classes, inside a comic book store, and at rock venues. These attempts to put on comedy in unlikely locations lead to the weekly standup showcase Cynic Cave at Lost Weekend Video in San Francisco and the monthly multimedia comedy show Talkies. George has appeared at Holy Fuck (LA), SF Sketchfest, The Business, Put Your Hands Together Podcast, Marin Headlands Center for the Arts, The Porchlight Storytelling Series, and SFMoMA.
• OJ Patterson – OJ Patterson is a weird guy, who writes jokes for weird people. A self-described “blerd” — black nerd — he’s characterized by goofy inquiries and puns. He’s proudest of producing Storking Comedy, Blackstronauts (his podcast with David Gborie), writing (Courting Comedy, SFWeekly’s 2012 Top Comedy Blog), and his contributions to Sylvan Productions (SFWeekly’s 2013 Best Comedy Troupe).
• Brandon Garner – Constantly being told such gems as “You’re nice sometimes” and “Why are you still here?,” Brandon knew from the beginning that he was bound for stardom. Still hovering on the outsides of social circles in public, Brandon has performed in clubs all over the bay area and the Redwood Comedy Festival.
