Muir Woods After Hours | Marin

You may have been to Muir Woods before, but you’ve never seen it like this. Join a Visitor Center guide (different from a forest gnome) for an evening visit through the park. This special walk begins one hour before sunset and will conclude with the dark of night, well past the time when the park usually closes! $5, reservations required. Heavy rain cancels.

• We’ll listen for owls, look for bats, and use our senses to guide us through the trails.
• These walks afford views of thousands of old-growth coast redwoods, the tallest living things in the world.
• This is an easy, two-mile walk on paved trail.
• Bring your flashlight and discover Muir Woods when the sun goes down.
