Event Details

Muni Diaries Live is back at Rickshaw Stop! We’re celebrating our return with true, only-in-SF stories by everyday riders. And we’ll be bringing back the Muni Haiku Battle. See you at the show!

Our spectacular storytellers:

Becca Henry is San Francisco born, raised by wolves, and got her start on stage performing comedic burlesque before buying new bras and making her way into standup.

Janice Li is a big fan of public transit and cities. She ran for (and won) a seat on the BART Board in 2018 where she currently serves as the board’s Vice President.

Katie Haverkamp is the Worlds #1 Boat tram fan, occasional musician, 100% cat lady. She has been known to harbor unbridled enthusiasm for almost anything in these 49 square miles.

Manny Yekutiel is the owner of Manny’s, a physical place to go to become a better informed and more involved citizen. He also serves on the board of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, the Valencia Corridor Merchants Association, and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.

Meaghan Mitchell‘s life mantra is based on the African proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” As a native San Franciscan and journalist, Meaghan has successfully built residents’ trust from the city’s most marginalized communities.

MC Allen is a two time Muni Diaries Live contestant, and one time champion. In 2018 he and his kids rode every Muni line end to end in a single summer. Mc is a lover of San Francisco, the city he has called home for 20 years. Oh, and he is a Muni Operator!

Wonder Dave is a comedian, writer and burlesque performer from Minneapolis, MN, now living in California. He has toured the country performing at comedy clubs, colleges, cabarets, comic book and science fiction conventions, burlesque shows, theaters, strip clubs, and bowling alleys.
