Awkwardness is a moment of pure, unscripted presence. When the thing that was supposed to happen fails to happen and you feel a flush of heat to your face, before the thoughts set in saying you messed up: this is a universal human experience since the beginning of time. To feel awkward is to feel alive, and honest.
They dedicate this museum to the awkward one in all of us who never gets it right but always brings sensation and connection in the failure to get it right. See confessions, text exchanges, objects accompanied by short stories of their meaning, and people sharing their experience of awkwardness live. There will also be live performances throughout the night.
