The SF Symphony has deep rooted history with forming after the 1906 earthquake. There is also a rich musical history laying the groundwork of the SF Symphony that will be described in the Panel Discussion Music of the Barbary Coast and Beyond: San Francisco’s Musical Origins on Wednesday, November 16 at 6p.
With a hundred years of band practice, it should be obvious that this exhibition offers a history worth hearing. There will be an exhibition of archived photographs, objects, documents, concert programs and posters of The San Francisco Symphony at the San Francisco’s Main Library through January 9, 2012.
