Make Music San José is a free, outdoor music festival celebrated worldwide on June 21, 2022 on the Summer Solstice. The festival features music of all genres and is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Performances take place in both common and uncommon spaces. Make Music Day International started in 1982 and has since grown to over 750 cities worldwide!
Make Music San José started in 2017 and has supported hundreds of music-makers and venues and thousands of participants across the city. (The past two years have been online and hybrid.)
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., you’ll get to enjoy free performances throughout the city.
Events at the Parque de Los Pobladores, the School of Arts and Culture at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, San Jose City Hall, the Hammer Theater Plaza, Children’s Discovery Museum, Evergreen Library, and other locations around San Jose will be live-streamed on YouTube.
