Event Details

A $5 music festival in Napa? That’s right!

Not Loud Concerts presents the Napa $5 Folk Festival on Oct 25 from 2 – 5 pm.

This is a festival like no other – 9 bands, 3 stages, all indoors in downtown Napa, and all not too loud! Stroll between the stages hearing amazing internationally touring bands, local favorites, and a few surprises. Presented by Not Loud Concerts, this event takes out all of the hassles and discomfort of modern music festivals and puts the audience and musician’s comfort first. Best of all, admission is only $5.

The festival is held entirely indoors in the historic Native Sons of the Gold West (on Coombs), in multiple rooms on a couple of different floors. Large bands will be featured in the grand ballroom, acoustic-based bands will perform intimate sets in the wood paneled meeting room, and in the dance room there will be folk dancing lessons and some surprise acts.
Indoor bathrooms, chairs to sit in, room to dance and, of course, sound reinforcement that is not too loud make this festival one of a kind. All of this for just $5.
There is lots of nearby, free, parking and there are elevators in the hall, along with chairs in every room. The friendly folks at the Native Sons Hall will have drinks for sale.
Buying tickets in advance is recommended (and appreciated), but tickets will also be for sale at the door.
Check out the amazing bands.
Dirty Cello – internationally touring bluegrass and blues band
Laurie Lewis – one of the founders of California bluegrass music
Frog Face Band – Americana and bluegrass band
Coyote Slim – traditional blues and old time folk songs with humorous stories
Cosmo and Leslie – a local bluesy folk rock duo
Clementine Darling – an indie folk/americana musician
Lovejack – cellist playing Bridgerton – like arrangements of modern songs
Lindsay Everly – Americana singer-songwriter
Folk dancing lessons from Marian Snyder of Berkeley Folk Dance
