“National Night Out” 250+ Bay Area Block Parties (2021)
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes community partnerships and neighborhood comradery with the goal of creating safer and stronger neighborhoods.
Every first Tuesday night in August we invite neighborhoods to host block parties that feature music, cookouts, contests, youth events, and visits from emergency personnel.
You’re invited to meet your neighbors and some of our finest local law enforcement and first responders as part of National Night Out at the Alhambra Christmas Tree Farm.
National Night Out gatherings have plenty of eating, chatting with neighbors and children playing. And the chance to talk informally with police officers is an integral part of the event, which is rooted in crime prevention.
This year, the Food Bank of Contra Costa – Solano will benefit from a fundraising food drive at the event. Attendees who bring a food or cash donation will receive a free raffle ticket to the prize raffle at 7:30 pm.
Free, but an RSVP is requested.
