SF Library’s “National Poetry Month” Celebration | April 2019

April is National Poetry Month and the San Francisco Public Library has scheduled abundant programs to entice the entire community.

From readings by world-renowned poets to films about national poets laureate, from poems in your pocket to blackout poetry crafts, the Library has something for everyone in honor of National Poetry Month.

Are you a writer or a poet? Join us for this cool poetry program where we will be composing found poems.

A found poem is when you take little parts of a piece of reading and combine them to make something new. It will be little bit of poetry and a little bit of art!
