Event Details

Join Nature in the City Founding Director Peter Brastow for a trek up and over Twin Peaks. This adventure will lead through Glen Canyon Park, up to Twin Peaks, and down the other side through the Mount Sutro forest.

Trekkers will see Islais Creek in Glen Canyon, amazing 360 degree views at the top of Twin Peaks, Mission Blue Butterfly habitat, and the historic Mount Sutro trail.

This is a transit-oriented walk with starting and ending points in different locations. Check out other details here.

This will be a rigorous trek with significant elevation gain and uneven terrain. The hike may be difficult for children under 10. Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. Long pants and layers are recommended. Bring water and a snack.
