The NBA is kicking off the 2015 season with an exclusive all-day celebration at Pier 43 in San Francisco highlighted with a free concert on the pier which will be broadcast live on TNT.
Things start with a high energy outdoor concert on the pier at 3pm by alt rockers X Ambassadors, followed by a free waterfront viewing party with a massive TV screen showing the night’s doubleheader on TNT (5pm is Cavs vs. Bulls, 7:30pm is Warriors vs. Pelicans) Experience it in an exclusive viewing area in front of the stage.
The space at Pier 43 will include a 40-foot LED basketball court.
The event is free and open to the public, but most everyone will be far in the back. But if you RSVP via 1iota with the code FUNCHEAP15 then you’ll be invited to get close to the stage.

You’ll have to watch from further away in the section that’s open to the general public.
What you should know
– Admission to the exclusive 1iota viewing section is first come, first serve, so we recommend you arrive by 3 pm. There is a public viewing section that’s further to the back if you are late.
– You may be on camera on TV. Come prepared to have a blast and be aware the concert may not start until past 3pm and may last until 5:30 pm.
