Event Details

Neighborhood Postcard Project has collected personal positive stories on postcards from people in San Francisco’s Central Market/Mid-Market neighborhood and now they are going to give them out to strangers to show them a positive side of a neighborhood that many only see or hear the negatives of.

Free, but an RSVP is required if you want to join in the postcard giveaway.

They will be meeting in front of Mission High School (18th St between Dolores and Church) and walking up through the Castro and Noe Valley, depositing postcards in mailboxes, handing them out to strangers, and leaving them in public places to be discovered.

They will end the walk at Dolores Park and hang out and chat. They will be walking for about 30 minutes. If you plan on joining the walk, please wear appropriate shoes and bring water.
