Updated 5/28/19 – Event info last checked via website

For the weekly “Nightlife on Mars” underground comedy night, the theme for 6/18 is “Game of Thrones is Ridiculous” with guest host Bert Divietri.

Jesse Fernandez – Jesse Fernandez shoots collages of ideas into that ether like shotgun blasts into the air. He rearranges half thoughts and feelings like a 4-dimensional jigsaw puzzle and puts the visual representations into his PowerPoint presentations. Then his boss scolds him for slacking off, and Jesse gets back to work as head writer of eBaumsworld.com

Adrian McNair – Adrian McNair is a San Francisco/Bay Area-based stand-up comic. He considers himself intelligent, though he can’t find a better way to put a degree from UC Berkeley to good use. He has been featured in SF Sketchfest, hosts the weekly Laugh Function Comedy Showcase in Berkeley and independently produces “The Book Was Better” Comedy Night in Oakland.

Andrew Holmgren – Comedian Andrew Holmgren embodies a rare combination of humility and good looks rarely seen before on this planet. The laid-back jokester performs with a certain reverence for irreverence and his succinct, clever sense of humor has caused people to call him a smart-ass more times than he cares to remember. Holmgren comes to party, based out of San Francisco, he was named one of 2013’s “comics to watch” by SF Weekly and was named “Best Comedian” in 2014 by the same publication. Andrew produces the popular San Francisco comedy showcase ‘Get Yucked Up’, he performs all over the country and has appeared at SF Sketchfest, Savage Henry Comedy Festival and The Sacramento Comedy Fest, where he was named best visiting comedian. I’d buy him a beer if I were you. He’s also got great hair.

Justin Gomes – Justin Gomes is the “man in charge” at Sylvan. In other words, he designed the logo. After studying theatre and linguistics on the cheap for many years, at many different community colleges, Justin was faced with a decision: Pay big money for a degree from a four year, or spend that money on real world production experience. So he dropped out of college and teamed up with high school comedy compatriot Andrew Moore, then reformed their young sketch comedy group Sylvan into Sylvan Productions. Justin is an accomplished improviser and stand-up comedian. He has performed on stages all over the west coast, and has absolutely devastated audiences with laughter at both the Noisepop and San Francisco Comedy and Burrito festivals.
