Nintendo in Concert (Grace Cathedral)

Wednesday, March 11, 2026 - 7:30 am to 9:30 am | Cost: $35
Grace Cathedral | 1100 California Street. San Francisco, CA

Event Details

Just in time to close Game Developers Week, Grace Cathedral proudly presents Sixth Station Trio in a program featuring music from Nintendo. This talented trio of local San Franciscan musicians has performed at sold-out concerts at Grace Cathedral since May 2023. Original scores are expertly arranged for Piano, Cello, and Violin. Sprinkled between the performances are insights and personal stories from pianist Katelyn Tan about the music and the games they grew up playing and still love today. The audience will be carried away into the world of Nintendo, surrounded by a candlelit Gothic cathedral. We welcome Nintendo fans to join us!

A message from Sixth Station Trio on why Nintendo?

We are not only classical musicians but also avid gamers. We grew up with the Nintendo franchises, which are very nostalgic and close to our hearts. Nintendo games were some of the first games we ever played and some of the first video game music we ever heard, so the games and the music are both very important to us. We continue to play Nintendo games together, which unites the three of us. Nintendo music is also some of the most famous and beloved video game music, inspiring us to take music into our lives as professionals. We want to bring the video game to the classical music scene as well as bring gamers to the classical music, and we believe that Nintendo is something that can bridge the two worlds together.

The program will include music from the following Nintendo franchises:

Mario, Splatoon, Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros, and more.
