A new art exhibit by local artist, Aida Gamez, titled “Going North” brings the rugged terrain of the Arizona border to life in the bustling city of Berkeley and serves as a homage to those migrants who risked everything for a chance at the American dream. The outdoor exhibit opens on Friday, October 15th at the Pacific Basin Building located at 1639 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley and runs every weekend until Sunday, November 6th with a special event on Monday, November 1 in celebration of Dia de los Muertos.
