This month they have a killer line up. The co-creator & Desi fest alum Abhay Nadkarni: Abhay moved from South-India to South Central Los Angeles for grad school. “But Why?” would be an obvious reaction. Maybe he had a death wish or maybe he wanted to see if Training Day was legit or maybe USC was the only school willing to give him an education. Dodging bullets en-route to grad school armed him with plenty of stories and stand up was his only catharsis for combating culture shock. His act is an eclectic mix of his experience as an immigrant in the US.
They also have a taste of therapy. Co-founder of the long running SF comedy show Cheaper than Therapy, Scott Simpson: Scott Simpson is a comedian and writer who has performed at SF Sketchfest, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the North American Comedy and Music Festival. He produces the most popular independent comedy show in San Francisco, makes jokes on Twitter as @scottsimpson, and his show “You Look Nice Today” has received the Podcast Award for Best Comedy Podcast.
Featuring SF native & punchline favorite Carla Clay: Carla Clay is a native San Franciscan and has spent the last several years making people laugh all over the country.
