Listen to a poetry performance while sipping on some Perrier and staying up late at the monthly North Beach First Fridays on Friday, August 5.

Held every first Friday of the month, participating galleries, such as Live Worms, Sweeties and Buon Gusto, stay open until 9 p.m. and offer drinks, live music, poetry, artist receptions and more.

So stick around after hours to experience the vibrant North Beach art scene and community, all while getting some snacks and schmoozing with local artists.
