Come to Old Oakland on Thursday, June 20th for the Old Oakland Summer Stroll – a community-driven celebration of local food, art, and culture. From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, our historic neighborhood will come alive as restaurants and shops step out onto the sidewalk to share their goods, joined by artists, musicians, food vendors, and more.
You can expect…
– Sidewalk vending from Old Oakland shops, artists, and restaurants (Square Pie Guys, Popoca, the historic Swan’s Market, and more)
– Open hours in local galleries (including E14 Gallery, Seven Mirrors Gallery, and Omiiroo)
– Live music and dance performances from local artists (including the Oakland Public Conservatory and Grown Women Dance Collective)
– Family-friendly fun: sidewalk games and other activities (presented by the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment)
– A celebration of local creativity and community pride
