Event Details

On Wednesday, November 10th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Oakland City Center and the Volunteer Center of the East Bay will hold a Volunteer Fair in the Oakland City Center Plaza between 14th and 12th Streets, Broadway and Clay in downtown Oakland.

The Volunteer Fair will feature a dozen local non-profit organizations that need volunteers to enact their missions such as:

  • Habitat for Humanity,
  • Chabot Space & Science Center,
  • Wardrobe for Opportunity
  • East Bay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

With such a diverse group of charities looking for support, the Volunteer Fair will make it easy for those looking to donate their time to find a worthwhile non-profit partner whose mission they find compelling.

The Volunteer Fair will also feature live music and prizes for those promising to donate their time. As the holiday season approaches, the Volunteer Center of the East Bay and the Volunteer Fair at Oakland City Center makes it easy to give the gift of your time back to the community.
