Occupy Bay Area Flash Mob | Oakland

Take part in a flash mob produced by Dancing without Borders on Saturday November 19th in support of the Occupy movement. The purpose of the flash mob is to inspire people across generations and all walks of life to break free from an oppressive system and co-create the world they want to see. All are invited to join forces in this creative, empowering act.

OccupyDance Flash Mob’s intention:
This is the story of a system that is dying and another that is rebirthing from the ashes. It’s the story of a global community that has had enough to feed a system that doesn’t serve us and isn’t sustainable. Through music, tribal, hip hop dance we’ll get to convey who we really are and share our passion for creating a thriving world that honor land, each other and ourselves as sacred.
