Event Details

If you’d like to see a film that informs, enrages and inspires you, come to Cafe Que Tal this Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7pm. The Outreach working group of Occupy San Francisco is going to show “Heist: Who Stole the American Dream?”.

If just 20% of the American public saw this film, there would be a wave of indignation and action which would fundamentally reform the government and society of this country. If you have seen “Inside Job”, this film takes things to the next level, providing a much clearer and shorter explanation as to how the current economic mess occurred, who was behind it and what we can do about it. The film also provides some good ideas about what we can do to start making the reforms so badly needed for real democracy to flourish here and in the rest of the world.

After the film there will be a lively discussion. Delicious food and drink will be available for purchase, but the film is free.
