OMI Cultural Participation Project, in partnership with Avenue Greenlight, warmly invites the community to Ocean Avenue Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 from Noon-3PM!

Y’all, Ocean Avenue is turning into a whole vibe this season: the kind of warm, soulful, community-rooted celebration that feels like a big family gathering on the block.

We’ll have a DJ who’s gonna have the gym glowing, blending holiday mixes of Motown, classic/current R&B & Soul, and Spanish Christmas magic: the type of songs that hit you right in the chest, and make you wanna two-step with your cousins, your neighbors, and that one friend who stays on beat like it’s their calling.

Pull up with an appetite, because our local food vendors are serving light bites, hot chocolate and cookies, the kind of eats that warm your hands and your spirit. And don’t sleep on the holiday arts & crafts corner: perfect for gifts, memory-making, or just tapping into your creative flow while your people hype you up.

This is a community moment: a space to feel held, to laugh loud, to show love, and to soak in the soulful joy of the season. Bring your crew, your energy, your cozy fits, and let’s make Ocean Avenue and the entire Lakeview/OMI community feel like home for the holidays.
