Three wonderful writers visit Odd Mondays in June! Hear Ethel Rohan read from her new short collection, IN EVENT OF CONTACT, Yang Huang from her new novel MY GOOD SON, and Adrian Ernesto Cepeda from LA BELLE AJAR, his collection of cento poems inspired by the work of Sylvia Plath. ADRIAN ERNESTO CEPEDA is the author of Flashes & Verses… Becoming Attractions from Unsolicited Press, Between the Spine from Picture Show Press and La Belle Ajar & We Are the Ones Possessed from CLASH Books. His poetry has been featured in Harvard Palabritas, Glass Poetry: Poets Resist, Cultural Weekly, Yes, Poetry, Frontier Poetry, The Fem, poeticdiversity, Rigorous, Luna Luna Magazine, The Wild Word, The Revolution Relaunch and Palette Poetry. YANG HUANG grew up in China and has lived in the United States since 1990. Her novel MY GOOD SON won the University of New Orleans Publishing Lab Prize. Her linked story collection, MY OLD FAITHFUL, won the Juniper Prize, and her debut novel, LIVING TREASURES, won the Nautilus Book Award silver medal. She works for the University of California, Berkeley and lives in the Bay Area with her family.

ETHEL ROHAN is an award-winning essayist, novelist, and short story writer. Her latest book In the Event of Contact won the Dzanc Books Short Story Collection Prize (May 18, 2021). Rohan has published widely, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Irish Times, PEN America, Tin House, and Guernica. Born in Dublin, Ireland, she is a longtime San Francisco resident and member of the Writers Grotto.
