Off the Grid

Every Saturday through October 17 from 11 AM to 4 PM, Off the Grid returns to Treasure Island, bringing food trucks, music, and family-friendly activities to Cityside Park in San Francisco’s newest waterfront neighborhood.

The spring series includes free kite flying, face painting, and plenty of open space to relax, making it an easy outing for all ages. Admission is free, and complimentary ferry service from the San Francisco Ferry Building is available with RSVP.

What to Expect:

One Island. 15+ Creators. Multiple Cuisines.

More than 15 food creators per event span Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Hawaiian, Mexican, Italian, German, BBQ, fried chicken, sandwiches, and sweets. There’s something for every craving, from go-to favorites to something entirely new.

A Waterfront Setting with Unbeatable Views

Cityside Park spans six acres along the shoreline, with open lawns, wide promenades, and views that stretch from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate. Settle in, explore the park, and take in the full sweep of the Bay.

Kites Over the Bay

The signature kite program returns, with complimentary kites available with signup. By midday, the sky fills with color, creating one of the most shareable scenes of the season.

An Island Adventure Eight Minutes from the Ferry Building

Leave the city and arrive somewhere that feels nothing like it. Just eight minutes by ferry from downtown San Francisco, Off the Grid on Treasure Island feels part Italian Riviera, part Brooklyn, with italo disco in the air and some of the best food in the city.
