Get a taste of Bollywood with an opening night reception for The Matter Within: New Contemporary Art of India which will run from October 15 – January 29. Bring very comfortable shoes because the Non Stop Bhangra crew will offer dancing lessons on top of their performances. The dancing won’t stop as Monica Henderson leads an interactive rangoli ceremony.

If gyrating is too strenuous, dive into The Matter Within inspired interactive smartphone game called “Cadre”, from Groundcrew.

Nonmembers should RSVP for a $5 ticket before the show, or tickets are available for $7 at the door.  The event is free is for YBCA members, so login before completing your order, or call the YBCA Box Office at 415.978.ARTS.
