Opening Party: Four Painters’ California | Berkeley

Come and meet the artists, mingle and connect with the members of the Firehouse Art Collective at the Berkeley Art Walk on the second Friday of each month.

They’ll be serving complimentary snacks, hosting a donation based wine, beer & kombucha bar with live music and a local film and photo crew to capture the colors, sounds, characters and surprises of the evening.

About New Places: Four Painters’ California
Curated by Sue Steel, this show exhibits works of our very own Karen Zullo Sherr and peeps that are part of the “Figure Painting Group” held weekly on Tuesdays at our Gallery North. Four landscape painters present work that takes risks with color, form, mark-making, and subject matter. Betsy Kendall, Bruce Klein, Receba Garcia-Gonzalez, and Karen Zullo Sherr paint East Bay locations outdoors, from life, and bring a fresh, modern approach to a traditional art form.
