Event Details

In his The Power pose – Simplement naturelle series, Fred Aube captures the figures of spontaneous, confident, free, rebellious, and powerful women. He honors women’s natural beauty without the need to meet expectations or standards.
In this series, Fred Aube admirably grasps the dawn, the genesis, and the possibilities of what each of us could be. He sublimates a gesture, draws an intention, outlines a silence, and invariably leaves us with a question, a doubt, a reflection which echo resonates long after we leave.

Fred Aube is a French Canadian, born in Montreal, Quebec. He has been photographing in the Bay Area for the past 10 years. Recently, he has co-directed Chrysalis Interrupted, a short film that won multiple awards and that will be presented at the SF Dance Film Festival in November.
