Opera on Tap: Non-stuffy Opera Sung Live in a Bar | SF

Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or an elitist art form, by bringing it to bars.

Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The love of power rears its ugly head as Opera On Tap SF presents arias and ensembles representing the ages-old human struggle and how it relates to the modern times. Hosted by Adina Dorband and featuring Naomi Stine playing the piano, this show is not to be missed.

Free with $8 bar minimum.
