Opera on Tap: Non-stuffy Opera Sung Live in a Bar | SF

Opera on Tap is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break down the stereo-type that opera is a stuffy or an elitist art form, by bringing it to bars.

Local singers let their hair down and bring you into what feels like an after hours back stage party, singing some of opera’s best known and little known pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Join Opera on Tap SF for a rare opportunity to hear divine sound bites of the upcoming symphonic production of “La Clemenza di Tito”‘ featuring OOT SF singers & Symphonia Caritas with conductor Paul Schrage.

Also on the bill will be a preview of “La Scala di Seta” as presented by conductor Osvaldo de Leon & Phenix Opera.

This is an evening not to be missed, and an incredible opportunity to hear some of the bay area’s freshest operatic productions.
