~ Flag Raising: 7:55 a.m.

~ Breakfast Burritos: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Library Plaza

~ Fun Run For A Reason: 8 a.m. Start & finish in front of Community Center ~ Library Book Sale: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Library Plaza

~ Parade: 10 a.m. Route: Theatre District to Village District to Community Center

~ Concert, Food Trucks & Festivities: 11:30 After parade at Community Center Park

~ Orinda Community Center, 28 Orinda Way, Orinda, CA

Celebrate our country’s Independence Day with Orinda’s annual parade, sponsored by The Orinda Association. It’s a full day of events culminating with a concert in the park. It begins with the raising of our country’s flag at 7:55 a.m. in front of the Orinda Community Center, 28 Orinda Way. Breakfast burritos will be served starting 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the Library Plaza. At 8 a.m., it’s Fun Run for a Reason, a two or five-mile walk/run supporting the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood Foundation. (https:/sudc.org/wesley). The parade begins at 10 a.m. in Orinda’s Theatre District and continues under the freeway to Orinda’s Village District, culminating at the Orinda Community Center.  All families, schools, clubs and other organizations are encouraged to march in the parade.
