Grab your bike and pedal on over to catch a free outdoor screening of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure on the Crescent Lawn on the UC Berkeley campus.

Tim Burton’s first feature film follows the squeaky-mad Pee-wee Herman as he rides roughshod over eighties conformity in search of his stolen bike. “Revels in the weird, the unpredictable, the infantile, and the absurd” (Empire). Tim Burton (US, 1985). (90 mins) Recommended for ages 7 & up.

Shorts and other surprises begin at 7:30 pm, followed by the feature film at 8 pm.
