Join the New Parkway Theater and the rest of 24th Street as they host their first outdoor movie night. They’ll be showing the original “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” the family classic about a young boy who wins a tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world.
What: FREE Outdoor Movie Night
Movie: “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” with Gene Wilder
When: Saturday, September 20th. Gates open at 6 pm; movie starts at 7:30 pm
Where: In the parking lot of 460 24th Street in Oakland (2 doors down from the New Parkway Theater)
Cost: FREE! Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Also, bring your family, friends, and dogs, too.
Come early to watch martial arts demonstrations by Soja Martial Arts and to purchase popcorn, food, drinks, and other wares. All seating is first-come, first-served. Brought to you by Creative Growth, Bay Area Bikes, Kitchener Oakland, Soja Martial Arts, and the New Parkway Theater.
