In collaboration with CCA’s Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, Headlands screens a new video work by Jeffrey Gibson (AIR ’10), “Nothing is Eternal.”
A meditative piece on the nature and status of American society, the 18-minute video presents our current dynamic and precarious national moment as a series of tensions occurring across time, space, and identity. The video will be projected in the Commons on the outside wall of Headlands Center for the Arts’ main building, Building 944.
Following current Marin County health guidelines, viewers may sign up to view the video in single groups of up to 12 visitors. All attendees in a single group must comprise part or all of a single “social bubble.” Visitors must pre-register for a single 25-minute slot for viewing and must wear a face covering while on Headlands’ campus.
All guests should be listed by name in advance of attendance. Each guest must certify that on the scheduled day of attendance they:
-share a social bubble with their reservation group
-do not have symptoms COVID-19 (fever, chills, body aches, and others as described by the CDC)
-have not been diagnosed with COVID and not yet been released from isolation OR within 14 days been in contact with someone known to have COVID
