ABOUT THE SHOW
Karen Braswell is a San Francisco based comedian with a fresh take on dating, dogs and growing up as the teacher’s pet. Originally from New York, Karen left Wall Street to pursue a career in “anything else”. She has performed comedy at every stage, sidewalk and dive bar all over SF. A regular at many local favorites like Cobb’s, Punch Line and Cheaper Than Therapy, Karen is also a regular host and runner for the free workshop Ad Lib Mic for aspiring comics. Oh yeah, and she just got her own Netflix account!
ABOUT THE VENUE
With 220 seats and a superb new sound system (thanks to Berkeley-based Meyer Sound Labs), Freight and Salvage has become one of the best spots in the San Francisco Bay Area to see and hear live music.
ABOUT WHO’S THAT LIVE
Multiple characters vying for a career in a work world anyone can apply where support is required to be successful; all applicants must navigate through the obstacles of a dual world looking and not getting support along the road to a successful career. Following the lives of multiple Comedians as they are introducing themselves as part of the World of Stand-Up Comedy. Unveiling the fact, regardless of how entertaining they are they do not get booked to work at Clubs or Venues regularly. They need work, to build their followers, which will support them financially as they strive to gain National attention. Comics can’t get fame without support, yet they need support to be famous. Simultaneously we will investigate why Comedy Venues do not nurture the local comedian. WhosThatLive.com
