Grammy-award nominated 10-piece hip-hop, salsa, ska, funk and jazz band Ozomatli headline the official Afterparty for TEDxSF at the intimate Red Devil Lounge on Tuesday, November 16th.

Tickets for the afterparty are $25 $50, but with this special code, you can get $20 tickets!

Within the chaos that is the city of Los Angeles, a beautiful thing happened. Erupting out of the insanity came Ozomatli, a ten piece band who’ve managed to tweak people’s consciousness with their highly politicized amalgamation of hip-hop, salsa, ska, funk and jazz.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx where local, self-organized events can bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
